Great coffee shop! A wonderful working space upstairs that I didn’t get to use this time but had to go and see. Service is fantastic and excellent coffee. Will be back!
Very cool, hipster vibe with a young, friendly crew that offers a great range of coffees and snacks to drink in or take away. Dog-enthusiastic (better than dog-friendly!) and happy to have folks perched upstairs on laptops, or downstairs to be more sociable. Loads of options for coffee and tea, although not cheap, and a selection of pastries and a few sandwiches to eat. There are also convenient toilets. Very handy for a rest when you're in the town centre, and less chain-coffeeshop than most alternatives.
A lovely place to come and chill with a coffee and cake. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The coffee is hot and the cakes are tasty. We like to sit upstairs and watch the world go by.

Great coffee (house coffee blend, long black, cold milk on the side) - so good, I bought some beans. Excellent blueberry bakewell slice. But best of all was the friendly, knowledgeable and chirpy service. So much better than chain coffee shops prescribed procedures...!
Atmosphere is amazing, especially outside when sun is come out. And by the way, for the last time it’s probably most delicious latte I’ve tried.
Stopped for an Americano. Coffee good, coffee reasonable don’t know why recent reviews say it’s expensive. Service excellent, coffee served quickly staff helpful and friendly. Great place to sit and relax. Recommended.
Having a coffee in WGC and wanted to find an independent. This place certainly hit the spot! An impressive range of pastries and savory snacks on display, and the breakfast roll with falafel and tomato was delicious. Coffees and breakfast delivered to our table, which is a nice touch compared with the chain coffee shops, and the cafe latte I had was perfect. Thank you Coffee Lab.
